We are delighted to announce that two of YWCA of Queens' board members were recently honored for their resolute dedication to the community. On June 11th, the Korean American Association of Greater New York (KAAGNY) presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to In Sook Hong, YWCA of Queens' Senior Advisor, at an event celebrating the organization's 50th anniversary. Additionally, the Korean American League for Civic Action named Grace Lyu-Volckhausen as an honoree at their 10th anniversary gala.Last Friday KAAGNY also recognized YWCA of Queens' partnership in providing health fairs and services to the Flushing community. YWCA of Queens President Kumbok Kaye Min received the award on the organization's behalf.
