On June 9th, youth from the GED/Workforce Development program ventured to South Street Seaport to present the activity they have been working on this semester at the Team: Project Showcase - the YWCA of Queens Web Blog Project. The Web Blog Project is an online community for YWCA of Queens youth to voice their opinions and stay connected to the program and each other. The project has not only improved participants' typing and writing skills, but also has left a positive impact by building self-esteem and confidence.Visit the YWCA of Queens Web Blog Project at www.ywcaofqueens.ning.com
